Frequently asked questions
Answers about buying, products, software and support.
How do I get a price for a product or project?
Use the Request a Quote form and tell us the products or solution you need, the quantity and your location. Our team will reply with a written quotation. You can also call our Riyadh office.
Can you help us choose the right system?
Yes. Tell us about your site, the number of users or doors, and what you want to achieve. We will recommend suitable products and software and explain how they work together.
Do your attendance terminals work with your software?
Yes. LanaTime 3.0 works with ZKTeco attendance terminals and standalone access control terminals, and synchronises face, fingerprint, palm, finger-vein and card templates automatically.
What warranty applies to the products?
Hardware warranty follows the manufacturer's policy. ZKTeco provides a one-year limited hardware warranty against manufacturing defects. Contact our support team to confirm the warranty for your product.
What should I include in a support request?
Include the product model and serial number, a description of the problem, any error messages and when the problem started. This helps us respond faster.
Can a fingerprint template be converted into an image?
No. Extracting fingerprint features into a template is irreversible, so a template cannot be converted back into a picture. The original fingerprint image can be captured from the reader through the SDK.
Can I see the software before buying?
Yes. Use Request a Demo on any software page and a specialist will arrange a walkthrough based on your business.
Can LanaTime manage several branches?
Yes. LanaTime 3.0 is web-based and manages terminals across multiple locations over LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, GPRS or 3G.
Does LanaTime produce WPS reports?
Yes. The payroll module calculates wages from recorded working time and generates WPS reports.
Can parking barriers use both plate recognition and tags?
Yes. Dual authentication requires both a valid UHF tag and a valid licence plate before the barrier opens.
